Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team building enterprise-scale applications. The role focuses on architectural oversight, design, and development using modern stacks, RESTful services, and data-driven approaches.

Required 3+ years in programming and design patterns, with Cognos experience preferred. Travel and healthcare domain familiarity are pluses. You will mentor peers and contribute across the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• 3 years of proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable, highly available systems.
• 3 years of experience in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica preferred) and experience with two of: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, GCP or AWS.
• 3 years of understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
• Write and review code adhering to standards; perform code reviews.
• Drive technical solutions ensuring scalability and performance; participate in all scrum ceremonies.
