Job summary

enGen is seeking an agile software engineer to design and build scalable applications across digital channels. You will take an architectural view, contribute to idea generation, and participate in all stages from design to deployment.

The role requires hands-on coding in modern languages, strong knowledge of web services, and collaboration in a Scrum environment. A Bachelor's in CS/CE is required; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 1 year of algorithm/data structures/design pattern experience.
• Experience with at least two: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, AWS or GCP.
• REST/HTTPS/JSON web services knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specs for software applications; write code per standards.
• Generate ideas, explore tech solutions, and monitor progress against plan.
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and assist sprint planning and execution.
• Create tasks for stories and manage status in RTC/Jira.
• Report progress and issues to senior developers regularly.
