Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team building scalable enterprise applications across digital channels. You will design and implement software with an architectural focus, collaborating with product, design, and operations to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements include 3 years of coding experience, proficiency in Java/Python/JavaScript, REST/JSON knowledge, and cloud familiarity.

Qualifications

• 3 years of proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and data structures for scalable systems.
• 3 years of experience in at least one modern language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX).
• Experience with two or more: React, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, cloud platforms.
• Understanding of REST/HTTPS/JSON web services.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications.
• Design & write code adhering to standards; perform code reviews.
• Explore and implement technical solutions; monitor progress against plan.
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies; help plan sprints and block blockers.
• Drive story creation with DoD, acceptance criteria, and estimations.
