Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team responsible for building scalable software applications across digital channels. The role covers architectural thinking, design, and full lifecycle development using modern technologies.

You will contribute to enterprise reporting solutions and mentor teammates in a fast-paced environment. Required is a Bachelor’s in CS or related field with 3 years of design/analysis experience and proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and REST, plus

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or closely related field.
3 years of proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and scalable systems.
3 years of experience in at least one modern programming language and knowledge of web services (REST/JSON).
5–7 years in enterprise reporting, Cognos, and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
Write code adhering to standards and perform code reviews.
Generate ideas and implement technical solutions to achieve product features.
Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and assist with sprint planning.
Mentor junior engineers and monitor progress against schedule.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions.
