Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team building scalable applications across channels. You will contribute from idea through design to implementation, ensuring performance, scalability, and quality. The role involves collaboration with stakeholders and adherence to coding standards, including code reviews.

Required: 3+ years in software development, proficiency in Java/Python/JavaScript, and experience with RESTful services. Mastery in Cognos is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• 3 years of proficiency in design/analysis of algorithms, data structures and design patterns for scalable systems.
• 3 years of experience with at least one modern programming language and technologies such as React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, GCP or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications.
• Write clean, scalable code and perform code reviews.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
