Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable applications across digital channels. You will participate in an agile team, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure robustness from design through deployment.

The role requires strong programming skills, experience with web services, and mentoring capabilities. Collaboration with business stakeholders is essential to translate requirements into solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• 3 years of proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable systems.
• 3 years of experience in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica) and in two of React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, GCP or AWS.
• 3 years of understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
• Write code adhering to coding standards and perform code reviews.
• Develop and implement technical solutions to meet product features while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
• Drive story creation with DoD, Acceptance Criteria, estimation; manage tasks in RTC/Jira.
