Job summary

enGen is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable applications across digital channels. You will participate in all phases from idea to production, with strong emphasis on architecture and performance.

The role requires 3+ years in programming, solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and Cognos toolset, and a collaborative agile mindset. Office-based position with growth opportunities and mentorship responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field.
• 3 years of design/analysis of algorithms and patterns.
• 3 years in at least one modern language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) and two of the following: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5/CSS, cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications.
• Write code per standards; perform code reviews.
• Generate ideas and implement technical solutions ensuring scalability and performance.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Drive story creation, backlog items, and task updates.
• Monitor progress and report issues to leads.
• Mentor junior engineers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
