Cloudflare, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Public Sector Sales leader to build and lead a State and Local market sales team. You will drive engagement with both technical and non-technical buyers, crafting compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services and managing the full sales cycle.

The role emphasizes building a strong pipeline, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strategic relationships with key accounts, with a compensation plan that reflects your experience and the role’s scope.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling technical solutions to the Public Sector (SLED, gov, municipalities)
• Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles
• Basic understanding of computer networking and how the internet works
• Technical background in engineering, CS, or MIS a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience selling to SLED customer base

Responsibilities

• Build a Public Sector Sales team to cover State and Local markets; engage both technical and non-technical buyers.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to achieve revenue targets.
• Assist in creating and articulating compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services.
