Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking an experienced SLED Account Executive to help establish a Public Sector sales capability in Washington, DC. You will engage with both technical and non-technical buyers, drive revenue, and manage contract negotiations for Cloudflare’s internet security and performance solutions.

The role requires a proven track record selling to state and local governments, handling long sales cycles, and collaborating with sales, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling technical solutions or products to the Public Sector (SLED, Federal Government, Municipalities, etc.)
• Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles
• Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms and strong interpersonal communication

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan for the Public Sector sales in Washington DC
• Drive sales in defined territory to achieve revenue targets and articulate value propositions for Cloudflare services
• Manage contract negotiations and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
