Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Senior Site Contracts Manager (Sponsor Dedicated / Remote - US Based) to develop budgets and negotiate clinical trial agreements with major academic institutions. This role requires strategic oversight of US site budgets, risk management, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in budget and contract development, strong negotiation skills, and familiarity with CTMS and GCP. Oncology experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building budgets and contracts from templates.
• Direct experience negotiating with large academic institutions.
• Ability to juggle priorities, lead projects, and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong understanding of clinical study protocols, timelines, and site-related milestones (e.g., SIV).
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Template Development: Build US site budget templates and study-specific budget language for Pharma & Vaccine trials.
• Contract Negotiation & Risk Management: Lead direct negotiations with large academic institutions and other stakeholders; draft and finalize CTAs; perform due diligence.
• Project Leadership & Delivery: Manage multiple contracting projects across several therapeutic areas, with oncology experience preferred.
• Tools, Systems & Communication: Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and CTMS; maintain updates in trackers and databases.
• Compliance, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Deepen knowledge of GCP, sponsor processes, SOPs; train team members; drive process improvements.
• Oncology experience and cross-functional collaboration: Experience in cross-functional project work and oncology is preferred.
