Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Senior Service Manager who is a positive change agent and can drive high customer satisfaction while leading a service team and back-office to support growth. This role sits within a division that is experiencing exciting expansion across fire detection, protection, security and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in a service manager role in fire detection, protection, or security.
• Ability to communicate with leadership, regional staff, customers, and vendors.
• Strong team-building and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of current fire alarm, suppressants, and security systems.
• Understanding of P&L and financial drivers.
• Ability to attract and retain a team.
• Understanding technical aspects of product lines for decisions.
• Independent worker with strong organization.
• Proficient in NFPA codes and standards.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office).
• OSHA safety standards knowledge.
• NICET Level III preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage service department for the division and supervise staff.
• Schedule, execute, bill, and close service, warranty, and emergency work.
• Develop and manage departmental budget and revenue targets.
• Monitor gross margin and financial performance monthly.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to meet goals.
• Oversee assets: inventory and service vehicles.
• Foster high-performance culture with performance reviews.
• Coordinate with sales and installation teams to drive growth.
• Ensure safety initiatives and culture are embraced.
