You will supervise technicians and coordinators, manage scheduling, billing, and safety, align with sales and installation, and develop a high-performance culture with strong financial discipline.

Qualificações

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Senior Service Manager who is a positive change agent and can drive high customer satisfaction, while leading a service team along with a back-office team to support a business that is experiencing exciting growth. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience managing a team in the fire detection, protection, security, and electrical industries and is ready to assume ownership of a Division service management role, while being part of a vibrant national organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)

• Manage the service department of assigned Division.
• Supervise, train, and develop all branch associates, including technicians, service coordinators, billing coordinators, and dispatchers.
• Responsible for the scheduling, execution, billing and completion of service, warranty, and emergency jobs.
• Participate in the development of and manage the departmental budget
• Meet revenue and gross margin targets.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to execute plans, programs, and processes designed to meet or exceed goals and maximize market potential.
• Responsible for executing monthly financial performance analysis. Report the information in an effective manner to management and takes corrective action as needed.
• Efficiently manage assets, such as inventory and company service vehicles.
• Build and maintain a high-performance culture to include annual performance reviews and development initiatives.
• Responsible for manpower planning and allocation.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and cash collections.
• Collaborate with the sales and installation teams to support the growth and profitability of the Division.
• Ensure all employees embrace our safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.

WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU

• Five or more years of experience in a service manager role within the fire detection, fire protection, or security environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate to a diverse group of individuals, including company leadership, regional staff, customers, and vendors.
• Strong, positive team builder with leadership ability.
• Knowledge of current fire alarm, clean agent/special hazard fire suppression, or security systems.
• Advanced understanding of Profit and Loss statements and key financial drivers.
• Ability to attract, develop, grow, and retain a team.
• Ability to understand the technical aspects of the product lines and applications as necessary to make informed management decisions.
• Able to work independently.
• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Proficient in NFPA codes and standards.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
