Sciens Building Solutions in Piscataway, NJ is seeking a Senior Service Manager who drives customer satisfaction while leading a service and back-office team. You will oversee scheduling, billing, and the delivery of service, warranty, and emergency work, and you will partner with sales and installation to fuel growth.

The role requires five+ years in service management within fire detection/protection or security, strong leadership, and solid financial acumen. NICET III is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in service manager role in fire detection/protection or security.
• Strong communication across leadership, staff, customers, and vendors.
• Proven team-building and leadership ability.
• Knowledge of fire alarm, clean agent/special hazard suppression, or security systems.
• Understanding of P&L and key financial drivers.
• Ability to attract, develop, and retain a team.
• Ability to understand product line tech to inform decisions.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
• Proficient with NFPA codes and standards.
• Strong computing skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• NICET Level III preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage the service department of assigned Division.
• Supervise, train, and develop branch associates (technicians, service coordinators, billing coordinators, dispatchers).
• Schedule, execute, bill, and close service, warranty, and emergency jobs.
• Develop and manage the departmental budget.
• Meet revenue and gross margin targets.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors to meet goals.
• Perform monthly financial performance analysis and report to management.
• Manage assets like inventory and service vehicles.
• Foster high-performance culture with annual reviews.
• Manpower planning and allocation.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and cash collections.
• Collaborate with sales and installation teams to grow division.
• Ensure safety culture and compliance with safety initiatives.
