Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Service Designer to lead human-centered design initiatives for US federal government programs. The role focuses on understanding how people, processes, technology, and organizations interact to identify opportunities for meaningful improvements.

You will lead discovery, translate insights into actionable strategies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in service design, UX design, or related discipline.
• Strong command of service design methods, research, systems thinking, and strategic problem-solving.
• Proven track record delivering high-impact projects with measurable value.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights and develop recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with product, engineering, data, and research teams in agile environments.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a government contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements with high-quality delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs and organizational challenges.
• Map relationships between people, processes, technology, and organizations.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data scientists, and researchers to develop solutions.
• Engage client stakeholders, present findings, and defend service design recommendations.
• Identify risks and dependencies, maintaining quality amid changing conditions.
• Explore responsible AI-enabled approaches to accelerate discovery and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal initiatives and growth beyond assigned programs.
• Support proposals and new business opportunities with service design insights.
• Establish service design practices and foster an inclusive, innovative culture.
