Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Senior Service Designer based in the United States to lead human-centered design initiatives for federal government modernization projects, delivering measurable improvements in digital services.

You will guide discovery, translate research into actionable strategies, and collaborate with product, engineering, data, and research teams in a fully remote role emphasizing responsible AI, innovation, and mission-driven impact on public services.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in service design, UX design, or a related discipline, with leadership of complex engagements.
• Strong command of service design methods, research and discovery techniques, systems thinking, and strategic problem-solving.
• A proven track record of delivering high-impact projects that generate measurable value for clients and end users.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting federal government projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements with quality and timely delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs, processes, and technologies.
• Map relationships between people, processes, and systems to identify improvements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and research teams to implement solutions.
• Engage clients, validate findings, defend recommendations, and manage risks.
• Explore responsible AI-enabled approaches to accelerate discovery and service quality.
