Jobgether is seeking a Senior Service Designer to lead human-centered design initiatives for federal programs, including VA. This fully remote role emphasizes AI-enabled innovation, systems thinking, and collaboration with product, engineering, data, and research teams to modernize complex public services.

You will influence client decisions, establish design best practices, and contribute to organizational growth while delivering measurable improvements across government services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in service design, UX or related discipline with leadership of complex engagements.
• Strong service design methods, research, systems thinking, strategic problem solving.
• Proven impact delivering high-value projects for clients and end users.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication; influence without formal authority.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data and researchers in agile environments.
• Strategic and business acumen aligned with client outcomes and growth.
• Experience applying responsible AI approaches to services and data.
• Strong project and delivery management; handle multiple priorities and risks.
• Curiosity, continuous learning; understand mission contexts and evolving tech.
• Preferred: experience with federal agencies; VA knowledge; data science familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements with high-quality delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs, processes, and tech ecosystems.
• Map relationships to develop holistic service improvements and sustainable changes.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers to solve problems.
• Engage clients, validate assumptions, present and defend service design recommendations.
• Identify risks and manage delivery quality aligned with program objectives.
• Explore AI-enabled approaches to accelerate discovery and decision making.
• Contribute to internal initiatives and share best practices for service design.
• Support proposals and new business opportunities with design expertise.
