Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Service Designer based in the United States to lead human-centered design initiatives for federal government programs. The role focuses on understanding how people, processes, technology, and organizations interact to identify opportunities for meaningful improvements.

You will guide discovery and service design engagements, translating research into actionable strategies and collaborating with product, engineering, data, and research teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in service design, UX design, or related discipline.
• Ability to lead complex service design engagements.
• Strong research, discovery, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, data, and research teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs and transform findings into actionable improvements.
• Map relationships between people, processes, technology, and organizations.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to deliver solutions.
• Build trusted client relationships and defend service design recommendations.
• Identify risks and ensure high delivery quality and alignment with objectives.
