Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Service Designer based in the United States to lead human-centered design initiatives that help federal agencies modernize complex systems and deliver better digital services. You will guide discovery, translate research into actionable strategies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, data, and research.

As a senior individual contributor, you will influence client decisions, establish best practices, and contribute to growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in service design, UX design, user research, or related discipline with leadership of complex engagements.
• Strong command of service design methods, research and discovery techniques, systems thinking, and strategic problem-solving.
• Demonstrated impact with high-value projects for clients, stakeholders and end users.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements with high-quality, timely delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs, processes, and technology ecosystems; translate findings into actionable insights.
• Map relationships between people, processes, technologies, and organizations for sustainable improvements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and research to define problems and develop solutions.
• Build trusted client relationships, present findings, and defend service design recommendations.
