Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in service design, UX design, user research, or related discipline.
• Strong command of service design methods, research and discovery techniques, systems thinking.
• Proven ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile or collaborative environments.
• Ability to connect design decisions to client outcomes, business objectives, and growth.
• Experience supporting federal government agencies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements with high-quality delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs and translate findings into insights.
• Map relationships between people, processes, tech, and organizations for sustainable improvements.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and researchers to define problems and solutions.
• Build trusted client relationships and defend service design recommendations.
• Identify risks and maintain delivery quality and alignment with objectives.
• Explore responsible AI-enabled approaches to improve discovery and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal growth and share emerging practices.
• Support proposals and new business opportunities with service design expertise.
