Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Service Designer to lead human-centered design initiatives for federal agencies, initially supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. This remote role focuses on understanding interactions among people, processes, and technology to identify opportunities for measurable improvements.

You will guide discovery, translate insights into strategies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in service design, UX design, user research, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements with high-quality, timely delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs and translate findings into insights.
• Map relationships between people, processes, technologies, and organizations for holistic understanding.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and research teams to define problems and solutions.
• Build trusted client relationships and defend service design recommendations.
