Job summary

Southland Industries seeks a Service Account Manager to develop and maintain positive relationships within assigned customer accounts, overseeing the sales process and serving as the primary contact to retain and grow these accounts.

You will coordinate with the Service team to ensure customer satisfaction, address concerns, and advocate for customers when issues arise. This role targets larger, more complex accounts and includes mentorship of peers.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent training is required.
• 3+ years in direct relevant experience with service accounts and sales.
• Proven ability in prospecting, qualifying, presenting and closing sales.

Responsibilities

• Grow our service business by prospecting in assigned territory and cultivating new owner-direct customers.
• Sell new service maintenance agreements and truck-based service and project work.
• Proactively manage the service sales process from prospecting to close, including proposals and negotiations.
• Mentor less-experienced Service Account Managers and coordinate with internal teams for customer success.
