Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Senior Manager to lead service operations across multiple trades, focusing on profitability and growth. You will mentor field personnel, coordinate with sales, and drive programs that expand service offerings and market share.

The role requires a strong background in service management, P&L oversight, and the ability to develop strategic plans with regional leadership while ensuring quality customer experiences and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field preferred or applicable experience.
• 10+ years of service management experience for a control systems and/or HVAC organization, including people management.
• Significant experience in managing a service business greater than $5M in revenue.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills to drive results with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages and mentors the service field organization across multiple trades to develop technical, supervisory and leadership skills.
• Assists with recruiting, retention, coaching and training employees.
• Partners with sales and service teams to develop department budget and manage to metrics & KPIs for performance goals.
• Responsible for department P&L and overseeing costs to meet margins.
• Oversees scheduling, coordination, completion and billing of PM visits, repairs and service projects.
