Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Service Account Manager for the NY/NJ region, based in Clifton, NJ. You will drive long-term client partnerships, manage service agreements, and optimize operations for commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

Leadersh ip of field teams and collaboration with engineering and operations will ensure high customer retention, revenue growth, and successful retrofits. Strong BAS/HVAC background and contract experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC operations, or mechanical service industry.
• 2+ years managing service contract renewals, project management, recurring revenue models, margins, and/or labor utilization.
• 2+ years managing relationships with high-value facility accounts and navigating complex contractual scopes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with building owners, facility directors, MEP engineers, and key decision-makers across commercial, healthcare, and institutional facilities.
• Conduct regular account reviews, site assessments, and operational check-ins to ensure high client retention and satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades, retrofits, energy optimization, and cybersecurity enhancements across client platforms.
• Serve as primary escalation point for client concerns, coordinating with service technicians and operations teams for fast resolutions.
• Lead, mentor, and empower field technicians, service managers, and project coordinators to deliver exceptional service.
• Manage service contracts lifecycle, pricing strategies, renewals, scope expansions, and re-estimates; monitor margins and cash flow.
