Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Project Leader 2 in Chantilly, VA to lead nationwide electronic security installation projects for federal, local and commercial clients.

You will oversee project administration, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time delivery. Ideal candidates bring fifteen years in electronic security design/install, five+ years managing large federal contracts, and strong leadership, communication, and Excel/PM software skills.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years in design, installation, integration, and testing of electronic security systems.
• Five+ years managing nationwide federal security installation contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; MS/MA with 7+ years experience.
• Experience with contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendums, specifications, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
• Experience using project management, CPM scheduling and AutoCAD software.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills; detail-oriented and able to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of electronic security systems at multiple facilities nationwide.
• Manage project budgets, change orders, and schedules to meet targets.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and design professionals.
• Prepare status reports, briefings, and project documentation.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
