Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Project Leader 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit in Tysons, VA. You will oversee PM duties, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and manage budgets, schedules, and permits for federal, local, and commercial projects.

The role requires a strong background in engineering or related fields, ABET-accredited degrees, and a track record of delivering complex security and automation projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for a government security investigation and able to obtain a Public Trust.
• Full-time work type with ability to supervise PMs and manage construction projects.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams across Fire Alarm, Communications, Security, AV, and Power.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Construction Project Managers and perform PM duties on construction projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and cash flow for multiple projects.
• Prepare monthly reports on budget accuracy, schedule, and manpower forecasts.
• Coordinate permits, licenses, and inspections for projects.
• Lead communications with owners, contractors, and design professionals.
• Develop equipment plans and ensure safety regulations are followed.
