Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Project Leader 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will lead small electrical construction projects, coordinate with superintendents and clients, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across complex security systems for diverse customers.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years PM experience (or 5+ with MS) and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, with strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction PMs and performing PM duties on construction projects.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in multi-discipline projects (Fire Alarm, Communications, Security, AV, Power, Instrumentation).
• Experience coordinating with clients, GC teams, and engineering firms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational and administrative control for construction projects.
• Develop and manage project budgets and cost codes.
• Forecast cash flow and manpower needs; prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports.
• Prepare submittals, change orders, and project estimates.
• Lead meetings with customers and coordinate permits and inspections.
