Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Service Specialist to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and work on small projects. You will be part of a team that fosters growth, culture, and exceptional service delivery.

The role emphasizes customer-focused problem solving, technical security system knowledge, and the ability to travel locally to jobsites with occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm or electronic security systems.
• Solid programming skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Self-starter with ability to work under direct supervision.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with hand/power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel locally to jobsites; some overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine service calls, maintenance calls, and emergencies.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; install projects as needed.
• Provide accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with team members and cross-train on customer servicing and small projects.
• Comply with safety policies and regulations; assist with system checkouts and maintenance.
