Qualifications

• Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Advanced technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Advanced programming skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude with common tools.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to handle multiple service needs.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel locally; limited overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance and emergency after-hours service.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems for routine problems; install projects as necessary.
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Use troubleshooting skills to fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
