Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers, respond to calls, and complete small projects. You will work as part of a dynamic team focused on growth and excellence in service delivery.

The role requires strong technical skills in fire alarm and electronic security, plus the ability to travel locally and perform preventative maintenance on installed systems.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent
• Minimum 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems
• Experience with fire alarm and electronic security systems is preferred

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls, maintenance, and emergency calls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; install projects as needed.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Assist with system integrations, upgrades, and configurations as required.
• Coordinate with team to ensure high-quality customer service and safety compliance.
