Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and handle small projects. The role emphasizes growth, a positive culture, and commitment to safety and quality.

You will travel locally to jobsites as needed, perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair security systems, and contribute to customer satisfaction while adhering to strict regulatory policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Access control experience with AMAG / Lenel / Genetec / Software House - CCURE / S2 preferred.

Responsabilités

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency and after-hours service calls on a timely basis; diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems for routine problems; install projects as necessary.
• Use troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customer and Convergint in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance for installed systems that are typically less complex.
• Work with other specialists to cross-train on servicing existing customers by responding to service calls, carrying out Customer Support Programs and small projects.
