Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and manage small projects. You will work within a dynamic team focused on growth, safety compliance, and delivering top-tier service.

The role requires hands-on experience with access control and electronic security systems, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to travel locally to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel locally to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; install projects as needed.
• Prepare accurate service reports for customers and billing.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and knowledge sharing.
• Assist with small system upgrades, configurations, and tests.
