Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician in the Albany, NY area to service and support customers by responding to service calls and performing maintenance on security systems. You will work with a team to grow with the company and deliver world-class service.

Qualifications include 3–5 years of experience with access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Preferred Experience: CCTV (Milestone / Genetec), access control (AMAG / Lenel / Genetec / CCURE / S2), intrusion (DMP / Bosch).

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance, and after-hours service.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and replace defective parts; install projects as necessary.
• Complete accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Provide system integrations, upgrades, audits, and database management as needed.
