Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Service Specialist 2 in Buffalo, NY for full-time work. You will service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and participate in small projects while upholding the company’s customer-first culture.

You should have strong technical skills in security systems, access control, and diagnostic abilities. Local travel, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to safety are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Preferred experience: Access control platforms such as AMAG, Lenel, Genetec, Software House - CCURE / S2.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine service calls, maintenance and some project work in a timely manner.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; debug systems as needed.
• Install projects as necessary and provide system upgrades or integrations.
• Complete accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
