Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Background check (state and federal) as applicable.
• 1 year of patient registration or scheduling experience.
• Completion of Medical Assistant Program and/or CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient registration and scheduling.
• Greet patients and collect demographic, billing, and insurance data.
• Assist in training staff and communicating role changes.
• Organize daily tasks to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Gather statistics, complete reports, and monitor cash collection.
• Assist with exams and patient flow during visits.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Provide education to patients on follow-up expectations.
