Job summary

UVA Health is seeking an experienced patient scheduling and registration professional to manage complex appointments, verify demographics and insurance, and maintain accurate scheduling data. You will collaborate with care teams to resolve issues and ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include front-end registration, check-in/out, and providing exceptional customer service while protecting patient privacy and handling sensitive information with care.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2 years relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule multi-specialty and multi-disciplinary appointments within defined timeframes.
• Register patients, collect payments, and provide receipts.
• Check-in and check-out processes, including AVS and follow-up scheduling.
