Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced SCADA Design Lead for utility-scale renewable energy projects. You will drive the in-house design of SCADA monitoring and control systems, develop detailed design documents, and ensure adherence to SOLV standards.

This fully remote role requires strong leadership and expert knowledge in SCADA networks and automation. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with OT teams, and support project handoff and long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering preferred.
• 6-8 years of engineering experience in renewable energy or utility scale projects.
• Direct experience drafting SCADA, networking, electrical, and substation designs.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.
• Develop and review detailed design drawings and documentation.
• Own and drive SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional discussions.
• Interface with OT teams for hardware requirements and risk mitigation.
