Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior SCADA Design Engineer to lead in-house SCADA systems for utility-scale solar, BESS, and wind projects. The role is fully remote and emphasizes high-quality drawings, standards enforcement, and cross-functional collaboration with OT teams and customers.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive design consistency, and deliver turnkey SCADA solutions aligned with NERC and SOLV standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS, or wind projects.
• Ability to review complex SCADA drawings and ensure quality and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and networking concepts (Layer 2/3).

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house SCADA design for utility-scale projects including PV, BESS, and wind.
• Develop drawings, wiring diagrams, and block diagrams using AutoCAD and Visio.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce SOLV design standards.
• Interface with OT teams, customers, and third-party integrators on technical issues.
