Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior SCADA Design Lead to own in-house SCADA systems for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects. You will lead design workstreams, produce comprehensive drawings, and mentor engineers while upholding SOLV standards.

This fully remote role requires advanced AutoCAD/Visio skills, strong networking knowledge, and adherence to NERC and reliability guidelines. You will collaborate with OT teams and support project handoff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive SCADA and power systems design experience.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Visio for complex drawings.
• Familiarity with NERC standards and industrial networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale projects.
• Develop detailed drawings, diagrams and BOMs for SCADA racks.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce SOLV standards.
• Collaborate with OT teams to validate hardware requirements.
• Ensure design quality and compliance with safety and reliability standards.
• Support project handoff and commissioning readiness.
