Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior SCADA Design Lead for fully remote engagement in the United States.

You will own the design of SCADA monitoring and control systems for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects, delivering high-quality drawings and documentation while guiding a team of engineers. You will define standards, review complex configurations, and collaborate with OT teams to ensure commissioning readiness, risk reduction, and long-term reliability.

Qualifications

• Lead complex SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and other power projects.
• Define and improve SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Review scope of work documents and approve detailed design documentation for SCADA systems.
• Own technical escalation for complex SCADA configurations and cross-functional issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with OT teams.
• Promote NERC compliance and governance in design and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own in-house design of SCADA monitoring and control systems for utility-scale renewables.
• Develop, review, and finalize drawing sets including diagrams and equipment wiring.
• Act as senior design SME in customer-facing meetings and FATs.
• Coordinate with customers, utility reps, and field technicians for commissioning support.
• Mentor and train engineers to reinforce SOLV standards and engineering excellence.
