Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an experienced SCADA Design Lead for fully remote work supporting utility-scale solar, BESS, and wind projects nationwide. You will own the in-house SCADA design, drive standards, and serve as the primary technical escalation point.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with OT teams on hardware requirements, and ensure designs meet NERC and SOLV governance. This role emphasizes reliability, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Lead SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.
• Define and enforce SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with OT teams to validate server and networking hardware requirements.
• Develop comprehensive design drawings, block diagrams, and wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale projects.
• Produce and review drawings and documentation to SOLV standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster engineering excellence.
• Coordinate with OT teams on hardware requirements and risk mitigation.
• Support commissioning, handoff, and long-term system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with NERC standards and SOLV governance.
