Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior SCADA Design Lead to own in-house SCADA designs for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including PV, BESS, and wind. You will create and review drawings, diagrams, and BOMs, while upholding SOLV standards and governance.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with OT teams, and interface with customers and 3rd-party integrators to ensure successful FATs, commissioning, and long-term reliability of SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership of SCADA design streams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, and design documentation.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, networking, and industrial automation protocols.
• Ability to mentor junior/mid-level engineers and enforce SOLV standards.
• Familiarity with NERC compliance and governance in design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.
• Develop and review detailed SCADA design documentation and drawings.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce design standards.
• Collaborate with OT teams to define server and networking hardware requirements.
• Coordinate with customers and 3rd-party integrators during FAT and field commissioning.
