Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior SCADA Design Lead to own the in-house SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects. This fully remote role requires leadership in standardizing design practices and mentoring the design team.

You will draft and review SCADA drawings using AutoCAD and Visio, coordinate with SOLV OT, and support commissioning readiness and long-term reliability across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Senior-level SCADA experience in utility-scale projects.
• Proficiency drafting SCADA, Networking, and control diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of industrial networking (Layer 2/3) and fiber optics.
• Ability to lead design reviews and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own in-house SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.
• Define and improve SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Review scope docs and develop detailed drawings and BOMs for racks and enclosures.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with OT teams.
• Represent SOLV in customer meetings and FATs.
