Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a fully remote Senior SCADA Design Lead to design, review, and deliver SCADA systems for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects. You will lead design standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate with OT teams to ensure reliability and commissioning readiness.

The role requires expertise in AutoCAD and Visio, strong knowledge of SCADA networking, and a focus on safety, quality, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Visio for SCADA design.
• Strong understanding of SCADA systems and project lifecycle is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.
• Develop and maintain SCADA drawing sets in AutoCAD and Visio.
• Define and improve SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews.
• Coordinate with SOLV OT team on hardware requirements.
• Ensure NERC compliance in design, documentation, and reporting.
• Support project handoff, commissioning, and long-term reliability.
• Lead FAT reviews and customer-facing design discussions.
