Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a senior SCADA Design lead to own in-house SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS and Wind projects. You will design with AutoCAD and Visio, define standards, and mentor engineers while coordinating with OT teams for hardware validation.

The role is fully remote in the United States with responsibilities across project handoff, commissioning readiness and long-term system reliability. Strong experience in SCADA, networking and industrial protocols is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering.
• 6-8 years of engineering experience in renewable energy projects.
• Direct experience drafting SCADA, networking and control system designs.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Visio.
• Strong understanding of Layer 2/3 networking and industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS and wind.
• Develop designs in AutoCAD, Visio and related tools.
• Define SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and review drawings for quality.
• Coordinate with OT teams to validate hardware requirements.
• Support project handoff, commissioning readiness and long-term reliability.
• Ensure NERC compliance and governance in design work.
