Job summary

EY is hiring an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement customer-facing SAP IS-U solutions across the meter-to-cash lifecycle. You will translate operational requirements into functional SAP IS-U designs working with stakeholders and technical teams.

You should have 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, strong analytical skills, and be willing to travel up to 60% to support client engagements across utilities sectors.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree.
• Typically, no less than 3 to 4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection, and customer-service processes.
• Experience supporting utility customer-lifecycle processes, including account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, and start and stop service.
• Understanding meter-to-cash processes and dependencies among multiple SAP modules.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scenarios, process flows, data mappings.
• Experience executing unit and integration testing and supporting UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, cutover, and production stabilization.
• Experience working with business users, technical teams, integration teams, and project stakeholders to resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Willingness to travel 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, start and stop service.
• Supporting functional design and configuration of SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions.
• Designing and supporting service-request, notification, correspondence, and customer-contact processes.
• Translating service-operation requirements into SAP IS-U functional designs.
• Coordinating end-to-end process impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, and other systems.
• Analyzing customer-impacting exceptions involving service activation, billing, data, or integrations.
• Preparing functional designs, configuration documentation, test scenarios, data mappings, and project deliverables.
• Executing unit and integration testing and supporting UAT, defect resolution, and production issue analysis.
• Providing knowledge transfer and documentation to client teams and junior staff.
