Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U solutions across the meter-to-cash lifecycle. You will translate utility requirements into effective functional designs and work with stakeholders and technical teams.

You will gather requirements, support end-to-end processes, coordinate across workstreams, execute testing, data conversion, and post‑go‑live stabilization. Travel is expected 40–60% for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–4 years SAP IS-U or Utilities experience, incl. 3+ years in SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Experience delivering functional specs, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer data processes.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, start and stop service.
• Supporting functional design and configuration of SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions.
• Designing and supporting service-request, notification, and customer-contact processes.
• Translating service-operation requirements into SAP IS-U workflows.
• Coordinating end-to-end process impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, and other systems.
• Analyzing exceptions and root causes impacting customer data and contracts.
• Documenting business requirements and end-to-end process flows for self-service options.
• Preparing functional designs, configuration docs, test scenarios, data mappings.
• Executing unit and integration testing and supporting UAT, regression testing, and issue resolution.
• Supporting data conversion activities and cutover readiness.
• Collaborating with client stakeholders and teams to resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Providing knowledge transfer and user procedures to client teams.
