Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement customer-facing SAP IS-U solutions. You will translate utility service requirements into functional designs and work with stakeholders across the meter‑to‑cash lifecycle.

You will support end‑to‑end processes including customer data, service requests, and related master data. A bachelor’s degree and several years of SAP IS-U experience are required; travel is expected up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least 3 years hands-on in SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with SAP IS‑U customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection, and customer‑service processes.
• Experience supporting utility customer-lifecycle processes, including account maintenance, service requests, move‑in/move‑out, transfers, and start/stop service.
• Travel is estimated at 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, move‑in/move‑out, transfers, start and stop service.
• Support functional design and configuration of SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions.
• Design and support service‑request, notification, correspondence, and customer‑contact processes in SAP IS‑U.
• Translate service‑operation requirements into SAP IS‑U workflows.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end process impacts across Billing, FI‑CA, Device Management, Work Management, digital channels, and contact‑center systems.
• Analyze customer‑impacting exceptions and root causes.
• Document business requirements and end‑to‑end process flows for self‑service solutions.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test scenarios, data mappings, and deliverables.
• Execute unit and integration testing and support UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Support data conversion activities including mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover readiness.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve cross‑workstream issues.
• Provide knowledge transfer and client guidance.
