Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement customer-facing SAP IS-U solutions across the meter-to-cash lifecycle. You will gather requirements, translate them into functional designs, and collaborate with business and technical teams while traveling 40–60% to meet client needs.

A bachelor’s degree and 3–4 years of SAP IS-U experience are required; consulting experience and SAP S/4HANA Utilities knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least 3 years hands-on SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection, and customer-service processes.
• Experience supporting utility customer-lifecycle processes: account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, start/stop service.
• Understanding meter-to-cash processes and dependencies among Customer Service, Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, field service, and connected systems.
• Experience preparing functional specs, configuration docs, test scenarios, process flows, data mappings, and project documentation.
• Experience executing unit/integration testing and supporting UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, cutover, and production stabilization.
• Experience supporting data conversion, cutover, operational readiness, reconciliation, or post-go-live production support.
• Experience collaborating with business users, technical teams, integration teams, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions for clients, applying functional knowledge and utility industry experience.
• Translate requirements into effective SAP IS-U designs and configurations across customer, account, contract, premise, service request, and customer-contact processes.
• Coordinate end-to-end process impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, field service, and digital channels.
• Assist in data conversion activities, validation, reconciliation, and cutover readiness.
• Provide knowledge transfer, user procedures, and functional guidance to client teams and junior members.
