Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utilities clients. You will own the Billing workstream, translate regulatory and market requirements into scalable SAP designs, and guide cross-functional teams through implementation, testing, and go-live stabilization.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree.
• 4 to 6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including substantial hands‑on experience with SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing and 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience with time-of-use and/or interval-based billing and integration with Energy Data Management (EDM).
• Experience integrating Billing with related SAP IS-U capabilities, such as Device Management, FI-CA, Customer Service, meter-to-cash processes, and bill print.

Responsibilities

• Owning the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design through post-go-live stabilization.
• Defining the target functional design for Billing and Invoicing, including rate structures and billing schemas.
• Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design governance to translate requirements into scalable SAP IS-U solutions.
• Driving end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities.
• Leading the design and delivery of complex billing scenarios, including time-of-use and interval-based billing.
• Developing functional specifications, documentation, and configuration standards.
