Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utilities clients. You will own the Billing workstream, define functional design, translate rate and tariff requirements, and ensure cross-workstream alignment across meter-to-cash processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, with hands-on IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Experience delivering IS-U Billing and Invoicing through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience with time-of-use and interval-based billing and EDM integration.
• Experience integrating Billing with FI-CA, Device Management, and other IS-U capabilities.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design through post-go-live.
• Define target functional design for Billing, tariffs, and billing controls.
• Lead requirements, fit-gap analyses, workshops, and governance.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and related IS-U capabilities.
• Lead complex billing scenarios including time-of-use and interval billing.
• Develop functional specifications and design decisions for consistency.
• Coach functional team members and resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for billing cycles and invoicing.
• Manage scope, estimates, risks, and stakeholder decisions.
• Lead cutover planning and production readiness.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide functional guidance.
